The EU AI Act transparency deadline lands August 2, 2026. I built ActHub for every small business the law applies to but nobody built tools for. Here is what shipped in v1.2.
On August 2, 2026, the transparency rules of the EU AI Act become enforceable across all 27 member states. From that day, any business whose chatbot, AI feature, or AI-generated content reaches people in the EU is legally required to disclose it, label it, and be able to prove both. The penalties scale up to 15 million euros or 3 percent of worldwide turnover. Today I'm launching the tool I built for everyone that law applies to but nobody built tools for: ActHub v1.2.
When I started researching AI Act compliance for my own projects, I found two kinds of solutions. Enterprise governance platforms with multi-month onboarding and five-figure annual pricing. And law firm checklists written for people who already employ a legal department.
Nothing for the five-person agency running a support chatbot. Nothing for the indie SaaS founder with an AI feature. Nothing for the restaurant with a WhatsApp auto-reply or the shop publishing AI-written product descriptions. Which is strange, because those are exactly the businesses the deadline hits hardest: they are in scope, they have no compliance staff, and they usually do not even know the law applies to them.
So my team and I built the tool we wanted to exist. Practical, affordable, done in an afternoon.
ActHub turns Article 50 of the EU AI Act into a working checklist:
This release is the biggest since launch, and it is the moment ActHub graduates into a full product:
If any of these sound like you, the Act almost certainly applies to your business: a chatbot or AI voice agent on your site, AI-generated blog posts or product images, AI features inside your product, or AI tools in your hiring process. And it does not matter where your company is registered. Like GDPR, the law follows your users, not your address.
ActHub has a free plan that covers a five-system inventory, the risk wizard, the checklist, a disclosure widget, the transparency page, and the PDF dossier. Paid plans start at 19 euros per month when you need more. No sales calls, no onboarding fees, EU-hosted by default.
Not sure where you stand? I built a free 60-second self-check: ten yes-or-no questions, and you get a personal action plan showing exactly which of the four transparency triggers apply to your business. No signup, no credit card.
The deadline does not move. The work is one afternoon. Do it now, and August 2 becomes just another Sunday.
